hello friends!

     Hello to all,
I figured before I get too far into this whole blog thing, I should properly introduce myself. My name is Brooke, not short for Brooklyn, despite what everyone thinks. I am a currently a sophomore at California Baptist University studying Marketing. Although right now, I am at home for the summer in Dallas, TX.

I cheered at CBU my freshman year and decided that being a student and an athlete was rather hard. So for all of you college athletes out there, I have the utmost respect towards you. But with that, I decided that it was in my best effort to focus on school. So now I am a CBU cheer alumni, which means whenever I drop into practices, the rookies of the team must individually come up, introduce themselves to me, then greet me with a hug. Makes you almost feel like a celebrity right?

Now before I start to bore all of you off, I will try to share my interests in the least amount of words possible, because I have a lot.

One of my favorite things to do, in the whole wide world, is to travel. I could not come close to writing all the places I would like to go because the list goes on forever. My next favorite thing, besides traveling, are beach days. Because what is better than feeling the warm sun on your skin, laying in the soft sand, and listening to the waves. (This is part of the reason why I decided to go to school in CA). But as much as I love the beach, there is something about being out in the country on an empty field, and being able to see for miles. It's a feeling I really couldn't explain. Unless you lived in Texas of course, then maybe you would understand ;)

I love photography and am constantly annoying friends because of my desire to capture moments wherever I am. I really love flowers. They never fail to make a place look more lively. And they are not just meant for the ground and soil my friends. Invite me to basically anything outdoors, and I'll be in. Last but not least, I live for adventures. I think that doing things out of your comfort zone can never hurt and usually lead to learning something new. And if I'm going to do something crazy, it might as well be while I'm young right? (sorry mom)

I hope that you fellow readers out there feel a little more acquainted with me now and I look forward to writing again soon :)
